Ireland | Styled Wedding and Elopement IV
This styled castle elopement in Ireland was a total eye-opener for me and I hope it is that as well for my future brides who are considering eloping instead of a traditional wedding.
Traditional weddings are amazing. Don’t get me wrong, I love that you can be surrounded by hundreds of your closest friends and family on the most important day of your life. There are so many amazing things about traditional weddings. I am all for them.
I have had a few potential brides ask me about eloping, and what that could look like. Elopement weddings have totally evolved and are becoming more and more popular. This styled castle elopement is the perfect example of what this could look like.
Imagine you and your loved one on a mountain top, in an abandoned castle, by the sea, or surrounded by the forest. You read your vows with and epic view and all you can hear is the wind howling and the sound of waves crashing on the shore. Imagine 8-10 of your closest family and friends right by your side. Your marriage and the reading of your vows takes the main stage.
The most common fear in having an elopement wedding is the thought of not having hundreds of guests around you. I totally understand this and every bride and groom have a different vision of their day. However, I feel the need to educate people on what an elopement could look like.
I love this idea of a simple elopement. It doesn’t mean that you can’t have a wedding or reception somewhere with your closest friends and family. If this idea is something you are interested in but have no idea where to get started or how to pull this off, I would love to help you brainstorm ideas on how you can make your elopement special and fit the needs and desires you have.
This styled elopement in Ireland took place in an abandoned castle. How dreamy does this sound? If you are considering eloping my desire is for you to dream big and allow me to capture every detail of it!
